In studies conducted by researcher Feng and colleagues, a qi master named Bao held bacteria-laden test tubes in her palm for one minute. In one study between 44%-89.8% of E. coli and 66.7%-98% of Shigella were dead after being subjected to a qi emission with “termination” intention. In another experiment, E. Coli increased between 2.4-6.9 times when qi energetic treatment was matched with “growth” intention.
